Asked them to fix two toilets and one shower. Everything has been done in professional manner. Their estimation was very competitive. I can highly recommend them.

If you have a large project (more thank $1K), I recommend you get multiple quotes. The quote we received from EJ Plumbing was 2X their nearest competitor. We were able to get a slightly better job from one of their competitors for half the price. They saved us $2,000 for a better service. Just make sure you have multiple quotes if it's a big job. You'd be surprised the quality you can get from a highly rated competitor.

Clearly 5 stars for this business. Handy Rooter & Plumbing installed a two-way sewage clean-out today. Some of the things that stood out in relation to the outstanding service we received:
1. Promptly returned my initial call, and asked good questions to help with an initial diagnosis of the problem.
2. Rapid turnaround in scheduling an in-person visit to give an estimate, which included climbing up on my roof to do a diagnostic scope of my pipes (for no charge), because he wanted to be sure to accurately diagnose the problem before jumping to a specific treatment. He wanted to do the right thing to fix the underlying problem.
3. Excellent teacher - really took the time to explain what he was seeing, what the implications were, and what our options were for addressing it.
4. After completing the job, took the trouble to take us on a tour of our plumbing (with a camera on a hose) to show us what the insides of our pipes looked like and what the new pipe connections he had made looked like.
5. Sent photos of pre and post status of the underground pipes after the job was done, for our records.
6. Due to the current pandemic, everybody wore a mask, even when working outside.
I will definitely be a return customer!

Kept changing my appointments. Since after talking to this company first time, I had canceled the other guy, I kept accepting all appointment changes. Obviously customers time is not valuable for this company. However, the replacement work of garbage disposal was done very well and maintained cleanliness.

I'm not one to write many reviews, but I felt like I had to as I was very impressed with Khoa's work and professionalism. I called him last Saturday at 8:30am and he was at the house within an hour even though I didn't have an appointment. We had a blockage somewhere down the the line for half of the house (kitchen/laundry). He asked me a few questions over the phone before arriving and gave me a quote. I had already attempted to snake the drain a few times, but couldn't get to the blockage. Khoa arrived and attempted to unclog the line but it wasn't working. So he had to go on top of the roof (as we do not have a clean out) and unclogged it from above. He didn't charge me anymore than what he originally quoted. In the past we had called a plumber and they charged us double because they had to go onto the roof. Khoa did not try to upsell me (as the other plumber did) and instead gave me great advice on how to maintain clear lines. I was impressed meeting an actual honest plumber! I will be recommending him to anyone I know that needs a great plumber.

Problem: Our kitchen sink drain backed up after having carrot and potatoe peelings run through the garbage disposal. The sink would not drain.
Result:
A call this morning was answered immediately with an early morning appointment. The solution was to use high-pressure to clean the drain line. It removed a large blockage of grease, food bits, etc.
The work was done quickly and professionally with clear guidance on the work and cost.
We are very happy with the work done which quickly resolved our issue.

I've used Handy Plumbing Man twice to fix various toilet issues and they've always been great. Branston is punctual, polite, and always wears a mask and booties to keep things clean! I've compared their prices to other plumbers and they're a little pricer, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend!

GREAT service! Honest prices! A man of his word! He just left our house but I cannot wait to recommend Joe from J&K plumbing.
He arrived early in the morning with a smile on his face, very personable. He was easy to contact to begin with, fast responder, and makes you feel at ease with confirmations through phone and text!
We needed to get our hose bib replaced, I sent him a picture and he knew exactly what was needed.
We found that it was actually clogged! Wads of paper towel from who knows where! (What's up Union City?)
He did a great job blow torch and all. I think he even did a little extra by adding a female adapter, which is great for if there are any future problems! I didn't feel cheated like other companies in the past who over charged us. I also didn't feel like we were burdening him with our problems, he seems to love what he does!
At the end he gave us a receipt and a 30 day warranty right on the spot! Unheard of! Just goes to show that he cares about his work and he makes his customers feel comfortable with him. Very professional, he will definitely be our go-to guy! Because he says no matter what the time or holiday, he doesn't hike up the price.
Overall experience: professional, on the customers side, awesome!

Marlon promptly responded to my concern regarding a drained clog in my bathroom sink. He came out next day and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He put on shoe covers before coming into my home, and cleaned up any mess that was made. He also addressed a slow drain concern we had in our kitchen sink the same day. Overall, I had a great experience with Marlon and I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for plumbing services!

One afternoon, I noticed the kitchen sink was clogged, and water and the gunk were backing up. After comparing the reviews and prices, I got a next day appointment with United Plumbing. I received a text and an email confirmation after making the appointment. In the morning, I received a text message to tell me that my plumber, Alex, was en route.
Alex was on time, communicative and professional! While I worked on my computer, he took the time to figure out the issue and fix it for me!
Thanks a lot!!!

Got a quote for some plumbing work needed on our new house. Very reasonable pricing for the work needed, which was great considering some of the ridiculous quotes we got from other places. Was able to schedule a same day appointment for a bidet seat install before the holiday weekend. Technician arrived on time and did an excellent job. Thanks Always Rescue Plumbing!

Called Steve with a problem on a Sunday afternoon. He came over within an hour and fixed it right away. Very professional and honest pricing.

Had a garbage disposal drain clog on a Sunday evening. I sent out a request for the unclog to several plumbers via Yelp first thing Monday morning. Within just a few minutes of submitting the project proposal for quote, I heard back from Steven at King Kong plumbing. He was available in just a couple of hours, and had a very reasonable price. All other companies had a 1-3 day wait, but King Kong was available same day. I scheduled for 2pm today, but they ended up having an earlier opening and contacted me, offering me an even earlier appt. Since my kitchen drain was clogged and we couldn't use it - the sooner the better for me!
All in all, from initial contact to request a quote to drain opening/unclogging was 3 hours. What awesome service! Friendly, respectful on site, quick, and efficient. My drain is unclogged, hallelujah and THANK YOU King Kong Plumbing!

Eddie is the best! Our drain was clogged from the washing machine all the way to the main. We really needed a snake and it had been leaking out of the house for days. Eddie was super busy, but ended up not only coming that day, but after hours in the evening, after having been up working since 630 am. He was super nice, cleared the clog and the charge was reasonable. I highly recommend Eddie. Not only does he know what he's doing, but the customer service is great! Thanks again Eddie. We will definitely be calling you for further plumbing issues down the road.

Addendum to my review of 7/20/21: I checked the San Jose Permits website and this is the language with regard to the mandating of permits:
1. It brings accountability with regard to workmanship and ensures the job is done correctly; 2. It's required by law and illegal work may incur citations and reconstruction costs and 3. Liability carriers will not cover the damages to or caused by the construction done without a permit.
Crown Plumbing's estimator told me I don't need a permit and I got 2 substantially different estimates--one in person and one in writing, as detailed below.
I got a reply and a phone call from the owner after I declined the double-the-cost written estimate, who told me the technician should have known better and was basically in error. After 25 years of installing hot water heaters, the technician, as well as the owner, are likely fully aware that permits are required or there is even a second serious problem. The permit requirement is the second issue. The 2,195.00 in-person estimate and the $4,351,00 written estimate an hour later is the first issue. I will not be doing business with them. I do not want anymore contact from the owner.
My advice to consumers is get it in writing; check reviews and make sure you have a permit, which YOU, the consumer can get yourself at a FRACTION of the inflated cost.
7/20/21: Today I got an estimate in person from Crown Plumbing for $2,195.00 for a new hot water heater...with no permit as permits are not required per their representative and that a permit was approximately $500.00 more. The estimator indicated everything that he would need to do which included earthquake straps, a line down to the crawlspace, a drip pan, and all the accoutrements needed to complete the job. The only issue was whether to get a permit or not to get a permit. The in-person quoted price of $2,195.00 did not include a permit because I allegedly did not need one, the estimator said.
Then, within an hour, I got a written estimate via email for $4,351.00 which included the earthquake straps, the pan, etc. Funny how the estimate doubled once the technician walked out of the door. So an in-person estimate was $2,195.00, then the REAL estimate in writing came in at $4.351.00, more than double what i was told by the company less than an hour earlier. I will not be doing business with a company who does things like this. Beware.

Kit did a great job hooking up my washer with new hoses with no hard water residue. He also flushed the faucets in my rental so the water flows better. All in all a great job.

This is the second time I have used this company and Khan is fantastic! He is responsive and fair prices. Won't call anyone else. Fantastic service and if you have a plumbing issue - do yourself a favor and call them. I am a Realtor and Property Manager and companies like this are hard to find.

I called first thing Monday morning and they said they would be out between 2 - 4pm but would try for earlier if they could. They showed up at 11:15am and had the problem taken care of with in 30 minutes. They were clean, respectful, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I also liked the 60day guarantee. When I need to have the drains unclogged again I will call on them.
